Description

Raven started walking down the hall, her head lost in a book that's cover looked to be falling apart. Her eyes scanned each page with such care. She was on her way to her room for some peace and quite. Other then saving the city from Cinder block today was very distracting for her. Starfire was insisting her to join the team on a day out for pizza and the shopping, but she just wanted to read in her room. As she walked she could hear someone walking towards her from the other side of the hall. With out even looking up she new it was Beast boy. He wasn't paying any attention to where he was going because he was fiddling with a camera, looking through all the pictures he had taken with it of their fun days out. He spun the wheel with his thumb skimming through all of them till he got to one of all of them in Tokyo. He stopped and looked at all the smiling faces. The last one was Ravens, who to his surprise was smiling to. He stared a while at how the ends of her lips curled upward. He felt like he had to take a mental picture of it, when did Raven ever smile? When has she ever smiled this big?
Suddenly his camera was thrown out of his hands and onto the ground. "Hey!" He shouted but held his tong after looking at who he had bumped into. Raven startled by being thrown out of her book jumped as they bumped into each other. "Sorry" They both said. He quickly stepped around her to pick up his camera as she closed her book and held it under her cloak. "Ahhh man!" he sighed as he picked up his camera that was now in five pieces. It then lifted out of his hands as a black energy covered it. It dropped back into his hands in one piece. He quickly turned it on and sighed again with relief that it still worked. "Thanks Ray"
"Welcome" she answered. "Why are you still here? I thought you were going out with everyone else?"
"Can't wait to get rid of me?" She rolled her eyes at him and started to walk away. "Yes" He laughed and fallowed behind her. "I said I'd catch up, I just wanted to grab my camera" then she pulled out her book and opens it to the page she left off at. "That's nice" He laughs again. "Hey, why don't you join us?" She stopped so quickly he almost bumped into her. Then she turned around and held up her book. "No thanks, I'm good"
"Ohh cam'an, you know you want to" This time she laughed. It was quick but it still got his attention. "Was that a laugh?!" he almost shouted. "No" she said not wanting him to throw it all out of proportions. "Yeah, yes that was! hang on..." he lifted up his camera and took a picture of her. "What are you doing?"
"Taking a picture of this momentous occasion"
"You now what either of those words mean?"
"Hey! Of coerce I do, I'm not stupid" He took a couple more. "Stop it" She put her book back away angrily. All she wanted was some peace and quite, and now she's being harassed by a big green idiot. "Cam'an, I like the way you smile" he ignores her and takes another. Frustrated she puts her hood over her head to try to make him stop. "I can still see your red face" her eyes widen. "What! my face isn't red"
"Oh, yes it is"
"No it's not, stop it! Beast boy stop taking pictures of me!" She puts up her hand to block his shot. "Com'an on Ray, you look cute" right after he finished he had a terrified look on his face. They both stood there dumbfounded. He started laughing nervously. "Ha haha, well I better get going. They're all waiting for the party animal" Then he ran away so fast that he hardly made the turn. He came so fast his hands hit the wall as he tried to keep himself from going straight through it, then he pushed off and was gone. She still stood there looking down the hall. She found herself smiling, but she quickly stopped and looked around her. Then she sighed and opened her book back up. She walked into her room but she couldn't concentrate on reading.

"Hey" everyone was at the table they always sit at when getting pizza. "Raven you have decided to join us, oh joy" Starfire flew over to her and gave her a hug. "Ya It was a little to quite" she sat down right in between Beast boy and Cyborg as Starfire flew back over to Robin. he put his arm around her and then grabbed another slice. "To quite for you, yeah right. Just emit you like hanging out with us" Beast boy demanded with his mouth full of pizza. "If I didn't why would I be here?!" She then grabbed a slice and started eating with her friends. "Well, I'm glad she came! Now who wants another pie?!" Cyborg said as he got up. "I do" Robin answered. "Yeah, me to" Beast boy mumbled through all the food in his mouth. Everyone thought he meant another pizza but Raven noticed he was looking at her when he said it. "Wait Cy!" he called. Cyborg came back and Beast boy whipped out his camera. "Picture time!" Cyborg grabbed it out of his hands and held the camera out to get all of them. "Scotch in yawl, and say Booyah!" Starfire and Robin slid closer to them. "I'm not saying that" Raven hissed. "Hey BB scoot in more I can only see your ear" Beast boy moved closer to Raven and nudged his elbow against hers. "Come on Ray smile!" Then Cyborg took the picture "Booyah!".

I finally did some DC fan art. I really like these two together and I think this pic fits their relationship to a T.

I really hate to say it, but all of the grammatical errors are taking me out of the immersion of the story. Maybe it's just the Grammar Nazi in me, I guess. Still, having repeated basic spelling mistakes just doesn't do the story any favors. I can get around it if English isn't your first language, but damn, there are just so many of them, it removes me from the moments I'm supposed to be investing in due to being distracted by my mind pointing out all of the grammatical problems the story has. Do you have a proofreader, perchance? If not, you clearly need one, because if someone is taken out of the story because of grammatical errors, then something is clearly amiss.
